In the pipeline:   AGO is prototyping a 12.5" Harmer Wynne type astrograph.  This astrograph has the following features:

• F3.85 focal ratio

• OTA under 24" length

• Cassegrain focus for convenient camera placement

• Carbon fiber composite and CNC aluminum construction

Update:  The AGO Wynne corrector has seen first light!  We are now in the process of transitioning to full production and the first correctors will be available early Spring 2012.  100% USA made!

AGO designs and builds Imaging Dall Kirkham and Newtonian Astrograph telescopes.  Each telescope crafted by AGO makes use of carbon fiber composites, modern design and construction techniques, and relies upon precision optics to provide diffraction limited performance.  AGO astrographs are capable of capturing beautiful images of the universe or can be used for serious scientific work such as NEO (Near Earth Objects).  The sky is literally the limit!

Imaging Dall Kirkham Telescopes

• Highly corrected F6.7 optical system providing razor sharp, wide field of views (sub 6 micron RMS spot sizes) designed to cover big chip cameras (16803)
• Optics tested as a system to ensure consistently outstanding performance (Ultra Low Expansion mirrors optional)
• 2 element, broadband multicoated corrector effectively eliminates coma, astigmatism, and field curvature
• High precision, robust FLI Atlas focuser
• Huge 11" of usable back focus
• High reflectivity aluminum coatings
• Very stiff, thermally stable carbon fiber truss or optional Nomex Honeycomb sandwich core carbon fiber tube

• AGO 3.3" Wynne corrector to virtually eliminate coma and greatly improve field flatness with 80 mm of back focus, 100% made-in-the-USA
